additional remarks Communication determines not only our private life but also our working life. Hardly a day goes by without our having to use communication to tide over differences of opinion. The language we use makes our attitude clear to others and determines whether we unite with or become distant from each other. The most common reason why arguments start is that we believe that other people are responsible for our feelings. In this workshop you will learn how clear, respectful communication can be used to find solutions to conflicts without using power or aggressive remarks, such as allegations. In this workshop, using Marshall B. Rosenberg's concept of non-violent communication, you will examine in four stages how to speak clearly and respectfully to someone about conflicts and resolve them to advantage. It is a requirement of this workshop that you are prepared to examine your own behavior in conflicts and wish to further develop your ability to communicate.
