additional remarks Never before it was so easy to network with other people, as it is today. However many people do not find it easy to start up a conversation, particularly face-to-face. The fear of making a fool of oneself or saying the wrong thing outweigh the opportunity of making interesting contacts. At the same time, the ability to make contact quickly is being required of people; increasingly in job-related situations, through new colleagues, sales talks, new business associates, or in one's private life with new neighbors or relocation into a new town. In this workshop we will look at the various different aspects of verbal and non-verbal communication. You will learn how to deal with anxiety and how to positively influence the way you are seen by others, in order to build up new contacts quickly.
