additional remarks In einer Kombination aus Vorlesung und praktischen Übungen am Computer wird der Weg vom Experiment zu den physikalischen Aussagen dargestellt. Dabei wird vor allem von der Problematik typischer Hochenergiephysikexperimente ausgegangen. Die Methoden und Prinzipien der Datenanalyse sind aber allgemeingültig. Die Themengebiete umfassen u. a. Datenaufbereitung, Ereignisrekonstruktion, Umgang mit Datensätzen, Fit-Methoden, Ereignissimulation sowie die Bestimmung von statistischen und experimentellen bzw. methodischen (systematischen) Fehlern. Dabei wird auch eine Einführung in die Benutzung moderner Programmpakete zur Datenanalyse gegeben (z.B. ROOT). Die Arbeit wird zum Teil an Datensätzen aus aktuellen Experimenten durchgeführt.
