additional remarks	The lecture "Medical Technology 2 - an organ system based approach" is a continuation of the lecture "Medical Technology 1 - an organ system based approach". The lecture covers the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the major components of the organ system. Emphasis is placed on the technologies used to treat common diseases of the various organs. During the summer semester, the lecture will cover the following topics: - Respiratory System - Digestive system - Urogenital system - Central and peripheral nervous system - Sensory organs with emphasis on the ear - Trauma and plastic surgery - Medical Device Regulation Since this lecture emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of medical technology, we reserve the right to include current topics not listed here in the lecture or to omit others in return.
