additional remarks | Virtual prototyping of discrete structural-acoustical systems. Methodical approaches for virtual prototyping and simulation of the physical behavior of monolithic structures. Following an introductory part, independent model creation of an assembly of a simplified engine-transmission unit. Basic understanding, application and hands-on experience in the commercial FE software ABAQUS/CAE which itself is mainly used in the automotive industry. Comparison of analytical and numerical analyses techniques and their results. Focus on model and parameter quantities. Assessing the accuracy and reliability of numerical solutions. Validation of numerical models by means of experimental data. |
