additional remarks | Think. Make. Start. is all about innovation, namely the development of new products and their successful launch on the market. In TMS, current needs and problems from social, technological and economic systems are identified, analysed and validated in an interdisciplinary team. Mechatronic solution ideas are then generated and iteratively improved by building prototypes and interacting with potential customers and users. In addition, suitable market hypotheses and business models are developed and tested. Activities: Within the scope of the event, you will have the task of planning and implementing a structured development project iteratively in an interdisciplinary team with fellow students from other disciplines in a goal-oriented and agile way. You will jointly uncover and cooperatively solve challenges resulting from restrictions from the different disciplines. In addition, you will generate market hypotheses and product ideas at an early stage, test them in direct interaction with first customers or users, evaluate them with prototypes and further develop them. Finally, you have to present the developed concepts to a broad audience. The development of new products is carried out with the help of established methods like Design Thinking, TRIZ, Agile Development. The event will take place on the following days: - Pre-Event: 28.08.2020 - Main-Event: 2.-15.09.2020 - Post-Event: 24.9.2020 We recommend to block the whole time period as there will be additional work depending on your project around the event days. |
