Analysis Techniques in Hadron Spectroscopy

Course 0000001834 in SS 2014

General Data

Course Type lecture
Semester Weekly Hours 2 SWS
Organisational Unit Hadronic Structure and Fundamental Symmetries
Lecturers Boris Grube
Responsible/Coordination: Stephan Paul
Dates Tue, 14:00–16:00, PH 3268

Assignment to Modules

Further Information

Courses are together with exams the building blocks for modules. Please keep in mind that information on the contents, learning outcomes and, especially examination conditions are given on the module level only – see section "Assignment to Modules" above.

additional remarks The lecture will give an introduction into partial-wave analysis (PWA) techniques. This method is an important tool in hadron spectroscopy in particular in the analysis of multi-body final states produced in high-energy hadron scattering.
