additional remarks | The course´s main points introduce the fundamentals for the engineering analysis of the thermal-hydraulic behavior of nuclear power systems, such as: - Methods of Power Production. -Thermal and hydraulic Characteristics of Nuclear Power Reactors - Thermal Design Principles of Nuclear Power Plants - Description and analysis of the thermal performance of the nuclear fuel - Engineering aspects of single and two-phase flows in nuclear power reactors - Introduction to nuclear safety analysis The course is mainly focused on current Light Water Reactor technology, although relevant information about other future reactor designs is also included during the course. |
