ergänzende Hinweise | The lectures are divided into chapters covering the following topics:Energy Basics: physical characteristics of electricity, stages of the value chain, basics of energy prices and markets.Resources: Overview of different forms of energy, their status, special features and their development over time.Regions & Politics: understanding the energy trilemma. Overview of various regional energy markets and climate change. In-depth consideration of European energy policy and the German energy transition.Companies & Customers: The enormous changes in the energy sector are explained using various examples of generation, grids and the customer business. Various energy-intensive companies and the strategic decisions for an integrated energy company are examined in a deep dive. In the outlook, the future expectations of customers at all levels and the capabilities that energy companies will need to have in the future will be worked out.Hydrogen: Strategies and the development of hydrogen markets and sector coupling are considered from different levels.Outlook: general difficulties and weaknesses for the development of forecasts are analyzed and basic distinctions between scenarios are differentiated. Various scenarios are considered and evaluated with the students. |
