Further Information
Courses are together with exams the building blocks for modules. Please keep in mind that information on the contents, learning outcomes and, especially examination conditions are given on the module level only – see section "Assignment to Modules" above.
additional remarks | This is a lecture on both basics of in vitro diagnostics (e.g. its role in the health care system, the quantitative evaluation of test performance, admission and regulatory affairs, the challenges of in vitro diagnostic workflows) and selected topics from current R&D projects of the LBE chair with medical and industrial partners to take up unmet clinical needs. It addresses master students from bioengineering, electric engineering and advanced medical students. The course will be covered by different lectures working with Prof. Oliver Hayden at the LBE chair. It will be a presence-mode lecture (lecture hall N0314, Theresienstraße 90, building N3) with additional zoom on-line transmission in case of need. Exercises will be integrated into the lecture or given as homework exercises. The achievement of learning aims will be tested in a final, written 60-min exam at the end of the semester. |
