Courses are together with exams the building blocks for modules. Please keep in mind that information on the contents, learning outcomes and, especially examination conditions are given on the module level only – see section "Assignment to Modules" above.

additional remarks Students will be provided with scientific publications related to the topics presented by the lecturers. Each student will have to prepare a presentation on one of the topics and present it to their fellow students. In the corresponding exercise, students have the opportunity to discuss the literature on the assigned topic in more detail with the lecture supervisor(s), clarify any unanswered questions and ask for support in preparing the presentation. The students will also have the opportunity to rehearse their presentation with the lecture supervisor(s) and receive feedback on slides, timing and presentation style. By this interaction between lecture and exercise, the students will be able to go beyond the content of the lecture, place their knowledge in a larger medical technology context and convey the most important aspects of scientific work to their fellow students.
