additional remarks Tech Challenge (aka TC) is a project-based one-semester programme provided by UnternehmerTUM GmbH (Center for Innovation & Business Creation) with support of TU Minich, and in cooperation with corporate, startup or institutional partners. The aim of Tech Challenge is to foster co-innovation and provide students with a learning experience based on solving complex real-world problems. Interdisciplinary teams of students with diverse backgrounds craft their individual solutions to address a use case (aka challenge) outlined by the respective partner. An industrial challenge is formulated to be broad, with the potential of sprouting multiple team projects. Students are encouraged to choose the challenge they want to tackle and the team they want to work with. The use cases can come from day-to-day operations of partner companies, from problems industry faces in general and from relevant future trends. Corporate partners provide participants with industry insights, experiences, and network to better navigate the project development and acquire first-hand market information along TC journey. Programme registration starts on October 1, 2021: https://academy.unternehmertum.de/en/insights/tech-challenge Kickoff is on October 25, 2021 (online). Academy for Innovators will offer you: - Team matching to enable diverse and capable teams - A coach for your team to support you during this journey - Workshops/input on team building & ideation, design thinking, empathic exploration, concept generation, evaluation & validation, trends, sustainability, and pitching - Free membership & machine courses at the high-tech workshop MakerSpace, where you can learn 3D printing, laser cutting and many more skills that you may need for your prototype (https://www.maker-space.de/) - €250 of team budget - Prizes for winning teams - ECTS / certificate of participation
