additional remarks This lecture is focussed on basics of thermodynamics and thermodynamic analysis of large industrial plants, especially low temperature systems. The classic cryogenic processes like Joule-Thomson-, Brayton- or Claude-cycles will be analysed, typical low temperature systems like air separation plants, hydrogen refrigerators as well as helium liquefier based on cycles mentioned above will be analysed.
