additional remarks | In the lecture "Grundlagen der Entwicklung und Produktion" basics for the development and construction of technical products such as machines, vehicles and plants are taught. The product development process (PEP) in companies as well as procedures to support individual PEP process steps are presented. Methods for the abstract description of technical products by their functions and components are imparted, with which complex systems can be represented and analyzed. In addition, the basics of the manufacturing processes (prototyping, forming, cutting, joining, etc.) are presented and extended by rules and principles for the selection of suitable materials and the design of technical products. Finally, procedures and rules for a design suitable for manufacturing are presented, and the systematic influence of production costs on technical products is explained. |
