additional remarks | In the lecture "Medical Technology 1 - an organ system based approach" the basics of therapeutic and diagnostic medical technology are taught and a specialization in medical materials and implants is carried out. As a rule, the knowledge is taught in a three-stage systematic approach based on the organ systems of the human body: First, the anatomical-physiological basics are taught. Then the most important disease patterns of the organ systems are addressed. Finally, the medical technology solutions for diagnosis and therapy of these disease patterns are presented. In the lecture "Medical Technology 1 - an organ system based approach" the following organ systems are the focus (subject to change): skin, sensory system (especially eye), cardiovascular system, skeletal and locomotive system. The lecture is complementary to "Medical Technology 2 - an organ system based approach", in which other organ systems are covered. Both lectures are independent of each other. |
