additional remarks | In this course, students acquire basic knowledge of the German language, including intercultural and regional aspects, that will enable them to express themselves in everyday situations, such as shopping, going to a restaurant, public transport etc. Students learn and practice basic vocabulary on topics such as family, occupation, leisure time, food and living. They get to know the numbers, prices and time, learn how to ask and answer simple questions about a person or family, as well as talk about matters of everyday life in simply structured sentences in the tenses simple present and present perfect simple. Furthermore, they practice the usage of modal verbs, the imperative and the two-case preposition, as well as learn the plural of nouns, simple negation forms and personal and demonstrative pronouns. Students learn different strategies for effective, self-motivated, independent learning. They acquire teamwork skills through collaborative work in multinational mixed groups. |
