Introduction and Stakeholder Analysis - Get to know the most important actors and institutions in the (civil) aviation environment - Understand the interrelationship of stakeholders and their various roles, e.g., as advisories, rulemakers, service providers, or customers 2. Aviation Law - Introduction to the legislative regulation of civil aviation in Europe - Overview of requirements and standards applicable to commercial air transport, including technical, personnel, and operations aspects 3. Air Traffic Management - Learn how European airspace is structured and what infrastructure is provided - Understand how flights are guided along their respective routes - Overview of processes and systems that supplement the real-time traffic control 4. Navigation - Get to know the operational principles of in-flight navigation and routing - Introduction to aeronautical navigation charts and their usage - Route selection and planning 5. Meteorology - Introduction to meteorology and explanation of elementary weather phenomena - Learn how weather affects flight operations - Insight in weather services and reports used in aviation 6. Flight Performance - Get to know performance considerations that need to be carried out when operating an aircraft and learn how they are done - Find out how required amount of fuel for a flight is determined 7.
