additional remarks This practical course allows students to get a hands-on feeling for detecting and analyzing malicious content through the use of honeynets. The course begins with the foundational groundwork with respect to honeynets by looking at the various architectures and types of honeynets. This is built upon by giving students the opportunity to secure and operate a honeynet as a group. With the honeynet up and running the students will be asked to perform identification and analysis tasks.
