In the praktikum the students will be developing theoretical models for the description of nano-sized structures, study the effects of contacts to nanostructures, simulate the interaction of an electromagnetic field with nanostructures, analyze the optical properties of nanopatterned interfaces. In addition the design of novel architectures for nanodevices will be dealt with. The labs will be based on commercial software tools as well as on models and simulations developed by the students. |
