| additional remarks | State Space Methods makethe design of even complex Multi-Input-Multi-Output Systems possible. Such systems increasingly occur in mechatronics, in vehicle and aircraft control and in process control. The lecture first introduces state feedback and observer design for linear systems, then also nonlinear input-to-output linearizing and input-to-state linearizing design techniques are presented and illustrated by technical applications. A corresponding lab is offered.
