additional remarks | This student seminar covers topics of nuclear physics as well as theoretical and observational astrophysics. It addresses the roles and methods of particle accelerators, (a) for nuclear physics measurements as relevant in astrophysical problems, and (b) how cosmic particle accelerators produce nuclear-physics phenomena in astronomy. This relates to one of the research areas of the Cluster of Excellence "Origin and Structure of the Universe" (http://universe-cluster.de/). |
