additional remarks The seminar will deal with numerical methods, in particular with Finite Volume and discontinuous Galerkin methods, required for the simulation of earthquakes and tsunamis: Propagation of seismic waves and tsunamis Fundamentals of Finite Volume methods (fluxes, Riemann problems) Discontinuous Galerkin method FV and DG methods applied to wave propagation numerical problems for simulation of realistic problem settings
