Internationalisation funds of the TUM Graduate school

Application and frequently asked questions

The TUM Graduate School provides funds for doctoral candidates so that they can attend international conferences and research visits abroad.

The funds are offered according to different provisions. These provisions are directed to different groups of people and have slightly different conditions. Please read the following list in its entirety until you found your case and you find a possibility that you did not considered yet.

Keep in mind that if you are not employed by TUM (e. g. stipend holders) travel expenses can only be reimbursed after completing the trip. TUM staff members may apply for partial reimbursment already before the trip according to the regulations – in this case the application form given below needs to be added to both of the applications for reimbursment.
