The experiments were conducted at the Walther-Meißner-Institute for Low Temperature Research in Garching by researchers from the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Technical University of Munich. The related theory was drawn up at the TU Wien. The work was funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation, DFG) as part of the Cluster of Excellence Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST) and the “New frontiers in sensitivity for EPR spectroscopy” (SPP 1601) priority program, as well as by the European Community within the scope of the NHQWAVE project, MSCA-RISE and the Austrian Science Fund (Österreichischer Wissenschaftsfonds, FWF).
