The Electrochimica Acta Gold Medal was awarded to Ulrich Stimming, Technische Universität München, Germany, for the wide breath and the high creativity of his insightful research work encompassing fundamental and applied aspects from molecular level studies with single nanoparticles to design of industrial scale fuel cells.
