Prof. Gerhard Abstreiter
Gerhard Abstreiter, Professor at the Physics Department and director of the Institute for Advanced Study at the Technische Universität München (TUM), is awarded the Stern-Gerlach-Medal of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG, German Physical Society) for his pioneering research in semiconductor physics. The Stern–Gerlach Medal is the most prestigious German award for experimental physicists.
