The practical course in physics is an important part of the phsyics curriculum for the degree programs at Weihenstephan: During the lecture fundamental laws of physics are explained and demostration experiments are shown. In the second part of the course the students carry out experiments themselves in the lab and are supervised by tutors. This will train their understanding of basic physical relationships and introduce them to the basics of scientific experimentation.
