additional remarks In the exercise, the knowledge gained about polymers and their processing techniques will be further expanded and improved. The acquired knowledge will be consolidated in an interactive discourse, where the students solve problems statements by applying the contents of the lecture. Furthermore, the students analyze recent developments in research and are given the opportunity to ask specific questions to the lecturer. The exercise format can thus be used to close further knowledge gaps or to deepen individual fields of interest. The lecturer will intentionally go beyond the contents of the lecture in order to impart the students with the ability to determine a suitable polymer and corresponding fabrication technique for specific applications based on their respective characteristics.
