| additional remarks | The course gives an overview as well as presentations of major casting processes. Excursions to modern companies like a steelwork and a light metal foundry in the automotive sector show different application areas in various foundries. The casting-specific bases regarding design, quality insurance as well as Finite Element Analysis will be discussed in a practical way. |
