Further Information

Courses are together with exams the building blocks for modules. Please keep in mind that information on the contents, learning outcomes and, especially examination conditions are given on the module level only – see section "Assignment to Modules" above.

additional remarks This advanced lecture course focuses on an in-depth treatment of different aspects of the structure and biology of biological membranes and membrane proteins. We cover a broad range of different aspects including structure of lipid bilayers, biogenesis, prediction and experimental analysis of membrane protein structure, heterologous expression, purification, molecular interactions and structure/function relationships of membrane proteins
