additional remarks The aim of the laboratory is the implementation of numerical methods applied on the boundary element method for acoustic problems. In this laboratory, the programming language Python is used. The laboratory deals with the following topics: 1. Discretization using the collocation method 2. Numerical integration of regular and singular integrals 3. Solving linear systems of equations With these numerical methods, the following application are analyzed: - Computation of standing and travelling waves - Sound radiation of the pulsating sphere - Sound pressure evaluation at field points
