additional remarks This module allows students to develop their English communication skills for future work in the automotive industry. Themes for the classes are agreed in the first lesson via a needs analysis. Typical topics which students have chosen include the engine, transmissions, driverless cars, F1 etc. As befits an advanced class, students play a significant role in the development and execution of classroom activities. The module includes opportunities for students to practice both oral and written communication needed in professional life, with emphasis on group discussion, case studies, presentations, writing workshops, listening exercises, pair work, etc.
