| ergänzende Hinweise | In this course you work on a Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) such as those found at www.edx.org or www.coursera.org and use the content of this course to practise your English writing skills. Why not try something new which will broaden your outlook on your field of studies? or use this chance to deepen your knowledge of an area not covered in the classroom? In addition to the MOOC, you will complete 30 hours of supplementary language work such as writing and revising summaries of your MOOC's lectures or other assigned language work. This is a chance to see where you can strengthen your writing skills and communicate more clearly in English without being bound to timetables and a classroom. Send us a link for your proposed MOOC to minning@zv.tum.de, taking into consdieration the criterion that it must provide suitable content for writing summaries and practising English. Once your MOOC is approved, your name will be moved from the waiting list to the 'Fixplatz,' giving you access to Moodle. There you can upload a 500 - 1,000-word biographical statement telling us about yourself. You'll get feedback to help you revise and improve this text, after which you will be asked to write summaries of your MOOC's lectures. We'll recommend links to help you understand issues which could help strengthen your writing skill. |
