| additional remarks | Um die Wende zum 19. Jahrhundert beginnt eine neue, bis heute andauernde historische Epoche: die Moderne. Geprägt ist die Moderne von einer historisch einmaligen Geschwindigkeit des gesellschaftlichen Wandels durch Wachstum von Bevölkerung, Wirtschaft, Siedlung und technischem Vermögen. Die Moderne stellt schnellen Wandel auf Dauer. Da die Moderne die für uns bedeutendste, weil in die Gegenwart reichende Epoche ist, erhält sie im mehrsemestrigen Vorlesungszyklus auch den größten, zwei Semester umfassenden Raum. In diesem Semester beginnen wir mit der Zeit von der Industriellen Revolution bis zum Ersten Weltkrieg. Semesterplan und Skripte sind nach Anmeldung auf Moodle zu finden. |
