The course emphasizes building vocabulary, spoken fluency, argumentation techniques, and writing skills. Upon passing this "Gateway to English Master's" course, bachelor's students are permitted to join any of the TUM English-language master’s degree programs without having to take a standardized English language exam (e.g. TOEFL). For this reason, we recommend that bachelor's students take this course between their 3rd and 5th semesters.
