additional remarks „ Literaturseminar für Studierende der Biochemie “ is aiming at those students that want to choose Immunology as the minor subject of their Master in Biochemistry. General understanding of immunological processes will be used to study and understand scientific work that lead to seminal discoveries. Students encounter an important open question in the field of immunology and learn the scientific approach researchers took to address this question. A seminal publication covering important immunological findings will be handed out to the students. The students summarize the results of the publication and describe the scientific knowledge at the time of the publication and the impact the publication had on our understanding of the field in a “Seminar paper/Essay”. The seminar paper will be graded.
