Further Information
Courses are together with exams the building blocks for modules. Please keep in mind that information on the contents, learning outcomes and, especially examination conditions are given on the module level only – see section "Assignment to Modules" above.
additional remarks | The lecture will deal with basic plasma physics applicable to engineering problems. It will draw a bow from basic plasma phenomena to important applications in research, development and industrial production. The lecture on plasma material interaction (summer semester) will be based on this lecture. Content: (1) Plasma characteristics (2) Collision processes in plasmas (3) Thermodynamical equilibria (4) Particle motion in a magnetic field (5) Plasma transport (6) Applications of plasmas |
