additional remarks |
In this module, students gain knowledge of German as a foreign language, enabling them to discuss at native speaker level, both verbally and in writing, topics of general social interest and to present and debate the results of research within their fields of specialization correctly and concisely using academic language. Students test their ability to analyze complexly-structured and challengingly-formulated texts, specifically those with scientific content. They practice producing structured summaries of these texts and taking a position on them verbally and in writing. They develop strategies for the convincing presentation of scientific questions and research results in a lecture or essay within their field of specialization. |
