additional remarks The aim of the course is twofold. In a first step, students shall become familiar with banks, their products, and problems of bank regulation. In a second step, the course introduces various risk measures used in financial institutions. A combination of lectures, discussions, and exercise sessions will be used. The plan is to integrate guest lectures that are held as industry experts.
