Further Information

Courses are together with exams the building blocks for modules. Please keep in mind that information on the contents, learning outcomes and, especially examination conditions are given on the module level only – see section "Assignment to Modules" above.

additional remarks The project seminar concerns itself with development of buildings, innovative building types, structural systems, structural system typologies, building management, modularized development and building services systems, infrastructure systems, manufacturing processes and assistive, flexible, High-tech living environments /living concepts. The starting points for this are given in application scenarios, in preset programmes and the concrete use as well as in construction, material and to technology-specific requirements. The reference framework is task specific and can reach from the concerned urban-large-scale construction frameworks up to the personal, individual scale. For the preparation of the solution within the framework of the project seminar, students could take into account in particular the thematic contexts, complementarities and synergies of the Robo, ARC, BSP and FEM modules, or similar ones from their earlier studies. The module demands thereby the integration and consideration of different aspects in a conclusive total concept or project. The preparation is carried out according to the task in the form of sheet sets, reports, descriptions, drawings and simple models. The project task is issued at the beginning of semester and always based on current architectural, social and technological issues.
