additional remarks | The objective of this lecture is provide an overview on the current state and application of renewable energy technology. The lecture not only focuses on technologies but also on environmental, social and economical factors that lead to the intensivied world wide harvesting of CO2-neutral energy sources as well as their potentials and limitations. Therefore, it aims at students of all fields of study wishing to get an overview on the most important applications in one lecture. • Wednesday 15:45 / 3:45pm MW 0350 • 2 hours (90 min) lecture per week; no exercise course/ tutorial • Dates / room for RET II (summer term) to be announced at a future date • Compulsory Course for “Power Engineering” Master Programme students • Elective Course / Ergänzungsfach for all other interested students • Please register in TUMonline (campus.tum.de) for this course • Lecture Renewable Energy Technology consists of two semesters: o RET I: winter term; RET II: summer term • Exams: o 3 ECTS per semester for Non-MSPE students o 6 ECTS for two semesters for MSPE students (one exam for RET I+II) • International Master Programme „Power Engineering“: one written exam on both terms (120 min) after the second term • All other students: One written exam after each term (60 min); for these students it is not compulsory to take exams on both semesters but it is strongly recommended to attend both summer and winter semester • Re-examination in the following term on the topics of both terms |
