| additional remarks | In this course, students expand their knowledge of Italian as a foreign language, enabling them to communicate independently and confidently in familiar situations at school, work, leisure, etc., when standard Italian is spoken. Students learn/practice "communicative functions": to talk about their tastes in music and literature; to write brief summaries of texts; to formulate opinions, to give reasons for and defend them; to express needs, hopes, doubts and fears. "Grammar": conjunctions; combined object pronouns; position of combined pronouns in Passato prossimo; emphasis of object pronouns; Trapassato prossimo; Passato remoto; Futuro II; temporal sequence in Passato prossimo and Trapassato prossimo and in sentences using Futuro I and Futuro II; irregular comparative and superlative forms; Indefinita ogni, ognuno, ciascuno, qualcuno, chiunque etc.; impersonal constructions; pronominal verbs accorgersene, cavarsela, andarsene, farcela etc.; word formation. |
