Herbert Spohn receives Cantor medal of the German Mathematical Society

The Cantor Medal, the highest distinction of the German Mathematical Society, was awarded to Herbert Spohn for the decisive impact on the development of stochastic analysis, the theory of kinetic equations, and on mathematical physics. Spohn is jointly member of Zentrum Mathematik and Physics Department at TUM.
