Introduction to Strategy and Organization:
This lectures introduces the basic principles of strategy and organizations.

Contents will include specific topics within strategy and organization, as for example
- Organization theories
- Organizational resources and capabilities
- Organizational structure
- Coopertion within organizations

Specific topics will be updated and adapted due to current trends and developments.

Learning Outcome

After participating in the module, students will be able to understand and apply the basic principles of the following aspects of strategy, organization and HRM:
- Principal elements of strategy and organization
- Analyses of the status quo of organizations (strengths, weaknessess, opportunities, threads)
- Identification and evaluation of future strategies for organizations

Module Exam

Description of exams and course work

Grading is based on a written exam. The exam consists of two separate 60min exams (Personalmanagement and Introduction to Strategy and Organization, respectively). Both exams comprise short answer questions and multiple-choice questions. Results of both exams are combined. To pass the exam you must have at least 50% of the total points.

Exam Repetition

There is a possibility to take the exam in the following semester.
