Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions


Contents of the lecture "General Psychology" are basic processes of learning, characteristics of the memory, acquisition of knowledge, thinking, problem solving, instruction and motivational conditions of learning, knowledge on individual learning environment and psychological basics of the acquisition of academic knowledge.

Learning Outcome

After participation, students are able to understand general psychological processes and findings on human learning, thinking, and motivation and to apply them to teaching settings.

Module Exam

Description of exams and course work

Grading is based on a written exam of 60 minutes. The exam comprises short answer questions and multiple-choice questions.

There is a possibility to take the exam in the following semester.
