Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions

Content

Contents of the course "Leadership by motivation" are (1) The compensatory model of motivation and volition, (2) goals and motives, (3) volitional strategies and over-control, (4) intrinsic motivation and flow experience, (5) transformational leadership, and (6) authentic leadership and charisma.

Learning Outcome

After visiting the module students are able to apply the contents of the lecture to their daily business.

Bachelor degree, first practical experiences (e.g. internships)

Group disussions of selected topics. Evaluaton of videos. Presentations of practitioners.

Description of exams and course work

Grading is based on a written exam. The exam comprises short answer questions and (maybe) multiple-choice questions. (+ Übungsleistung (SL))
