Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions


In this module, the knowledge of the Italian language is used and increased so the students will be able to discuss fluently about general topics or their respective specialized work field with native speakers. They will gain the ability to use more complex structure with focus on intercultural, geographical or study related aspects. Communicational focus: Repeat written or listened information verbally or written, To make hypothesis in past or present tense and to correct them if neccessary, To talk about politics or history. The necessary grammar is taught (congiuntivo imperfetto e trapassato, conjugation with conditional, passato remoto, conditional sentences etc.).

Learning Outcome

This module is aimed at level "B2 Independent Language Use" of the CEFR. After completion of this module, students can independently understand the essential content of articles and reports as well as texts from their areas of specialization and interest. They can follow longer speeches and lectures, as long as they are clearly presented. Students are capable of writing on current topics and using complex sentence structures to a certain degree; and they can clearly communicate in speaking on many topics from their areas of interest or specialization.

Grundlage des Unterrichts ist ein kommunikativ-pragmatischer Ansatz, der insbesondere die kommunikative Kompetenz durch Rollenspiele fördert. Hierbei werden auch interkulturelle Aspekte mit einbezogen, um den Studierenden ein Bewusstsein für kulturelle Unterschiede zu vermitteln und sie in die Lage zu versetzen, sich in spezifischen Situationen angemessen sprachlich zu äußern. Gezielte Übungen sollen gleichermaßen die Hör- Lese- Schreib- und Sprechfertigkeiten schulen. Einzel- Partner- und Gruppenarbeit; E-learning. Förderung kooperativen Lernens. Referieren und Präsentieren nach vorgegebenen Kriterien; moderierte Diskussionen.
