In this module, students will gain knowledge of German as a foreign language, enabling them to produce various forms of texts using a broad general and specialist vocabulary and advanced grammatical structures. On the basis of examples from print, audio and film material, as well as selected vocabulary and grammar exercises, students use writing to gain skills for the correct and confident use of German in an academic context. The module can serve as a supplement to modules C1.1 and C1.2.
This module refers to level C1 of the CEFR, with a special emphasis on writing skills.Students review and expand their knowledge of German as a foreign language in selected areas of grammar and vocabulary. Students can produce well-structured, precise and richly varied texts of considerable length in various contexts. They can produce such texts as letters, project descriptions, summaries, protocols, notes, position papers, columns, commentaries, critiques, etc., using appropriate, structured, logically-connected and largely differentiated vocabulary, as well as complex sentence structures and conventional textual elements.

Learning and Teaching Methods
The module consists of a seminar in which students work independently and collaboratively in teams and on projects on assigned topics. Our learning goals will be achieved through writing exercised in individual, partner, and group work, as well as self, partner and teacher feedback on the students' written work.
