Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions

Content

Grammar:
- Compounded object and subject functions in relative clauses
- Ordinal numbers
- Reduplication
- Aspects of duration of process/action
- Cardinal numbers 1000 and up
- Quantities in comparative clauses
- Indefinite pronouns
- Interrogative pronouns as universal pronouns
- Conjunctions, coordinating and subordinating
- Selected special forms of Chinese word formation
- 200 further vocabulary and their functions in sentence construction
- expand knowledge of sentence parts

Learning Outcome

After completing this module, students will be able to integrate additional vocabulary into sentences constructed following the rules of Chinese grammar in colloquial-language texts and to commuincate effectively . They will possess the knowledge to take and pass the HSK Test (Chinese Proficiency Test, Level 3 ).

Preconditions

Successful completion of advanced level 1 or equivalent knowledge
