Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions

Content

Raising Awareness for intra- and intercultural situations in the German university context, Knowledge transfer on the intercultural background, reflection of daily life situations by case study work, dealing with intercultural irritations, working on strategies for the cooperation in international teams

Learning Outcome

After the workshop students are able to reflect own and foreign culture standards, to analyze the challenges with stereotyping in the intercultural context and are competent to deal with cultural differences and possible conflicts. The students are able to put social competencies in their daily life and to develop them in further practice. International students can better integrate in the university system, in society and in business context. Furthermore they know strategies to work successfully together in their daily study environment.
